Do you crochet? It doesn’t matter if your are a beginner or advanced – I need people to test my pattern before I can sell it so… I need volunteers! The pattern, will walk you through the process of creating any character (human or humanoid) that you want to create based off of a picture that you can find via Google search. You could even make it based on a person you actually know if you’d like.
You choose the colors, the hair style, and the clothing. The pattern can walk you through the most basic steps for these items. It’s like sculpting – but with yarn. Dolls featured in the pattern are from my Walking Dead inspired items so there is a lot of variety to work with. (Featured picture for this post shows my collection of dolls inspired by Orphan Black characters.)
If you are interested in testing my Basic Amigurumi Doll Pattern, then please send me an email (firstname.lastname@example.org) and I will send you the pattern in PDF form.
Hello folks. I’m horrible at remembering to post updates here but I assure you, I’m still creating fun & unique items for some shows I’ll be vending at very soon.
My Facebook page & group are usually pretty up-to-date on my latest creations and upcoming events. Here are a few pictures of what’s been happening offline.
Rae from Homemade by RaeBey & I attended the Pittsburgh Creative Arts Festival just for fun and to stock up on supplies. We had a blast and left feeling inspired.
Crochet Craft Lady will be vending at these upcoming events in the Pittsburgh Area:
Pittsburgh Retro Gaming Convention on April 21st & 22nd: https://www.facebook.com/events/413184189111251/?ti=cl
West Mifflin Red Knights Spring Craft & Vendor show on May 5th: https://www.facebook.com/events/1979313502337537/?ti=cl
3 Rivers Comic-Con on May 19th & 20th: https://www.facebook.com/events/1724553381171028/?ti=cl
Here are some of the items I’ve prepared for these events but there are so many more that I can’t post because… well, there’s a lot!😉
I am also hoping to snag a spot at the Freaky Fair again this year. I’ll keep you posted once I know if they accept the application.
I’m always trying to challenge myself so I thought I’d try making a corner to corner graphgan. I’m satisfied with the end result even though my perfectionism finds ways I could have done better. It’s still beautiful work though and lessons have been learned for next time!
I’m still working on fun things for some events I will be vending at in April & May. Today, I fought a good fight with my sewing machine to finish my Hogwarts House baby blankets. Admittedly, the sewing machine made it almost impossible to sew around the iron-on patches but rest assured – those patches are NEVER coming off!
It’s been a while since I’ve posted here and for that; I apologize. During December, I focused on completing a few custom orders and gifts for family members, which you can see below.
I enjoyed the break after the holiday and I now have 3 events scheduled s far for Spring. I will post more details about those events as they get closer.
My main focus at this time are items related to retro video games and comics. Check my Etsy shop for new items as they are completed or find me in person at one of my upcoming events.
Here is a sneak preview of projects I’ve made so far:
I will be vending at two craft shows in the South Pittsburgh area this week. Check my Crochet Craft Lady Facebook page for event details if you’d like to come meet me in person!
